As someone who has been a pastor in a variety of contexts these past 42 years, I have a sense of some of the several challenges and opportunities one faces in ministry. If you are tired, feeling "empty", or needing to re-energize yourself, coaching can be a helpful experience for you. Coaching can help you move from where you are to where you desire to be.

I like to journey with you for 6 sessions initially and the first one is free. The cost for the other 5 is $600.00. We can then discern if you wish to continue the journey. I also give a discount to ELCA Rostered Leaders.

If you wish to be coached on a pay per session basis my fee is $150.00 per session (after the first one).

There are many transition points in ministry/spiritual leadership from beginning in ministry to beginning in ministry at a particular context and ending ministry and ending ministry at a particular context exploring options and developing a helpful and resourceful strategy can make the transition more fulfilling. 

Coaching will help you identify and use the tools you have for these points of transition.

The first session is a discovery session with no fees so we can see what an effective team we can be.

If you are dissatisfied with where you are in any given situation and want to explore options to get to a more desired place my life coaching service may be for you. Using NLP and other coaching tools you can overcome problems that have you stuck, or explore options in the midst of many choices for the best choice.

My first session with you -- a "Discovery Session" is free for us to see if we are a good match and if you feel that this is a good process to engage in. Then the next 5 sessions are $600 or $150 a session if you wish less than that.

This is specifically coaching to guide you to reveal your life purpose to yourself. In six sessions -- with homework you will discern and identify your life purposes.

As different facets of your life have different purposes you can explore the commonality between them and live life more in line with your purposes.

For this course you will be registered to take an online program at the iNLP Center for certification as a NLP Practitioner, AND you also get live sessions with me for tutoring and exploring "bonus" material not included in core course. 

One bit of bonus material will be how the concepts and techniques can be used for one of faith.

This is a discussion group on a weekly basis to explore how Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Faith can be integrated.

 Topics will vary, but will often be open discussions with ideas brought by participants.

Come and learn about how you think (process information) affects how and what you believe. What are concepts and tools that can help your faith intensify with more resourceful thinking and communicating.

How well does your team function? Are you looking at ways to build your team to a stronger unit? Do you want to work together more effectively on a project? Team coaching may be for you. We would meet for 4 sessions to achieve your goals.

The first session would be a discovery session that would be held after a one on one conversation with the Team Leader.

This course equips you to serve as an effective coach for those who are clergy and/or spiritual leaders.

Their occupation places peculiar demands on their time and their well being. This course will help you identify and assist clergy to be more centered, effective, and balanced in their work and life.Though clergy/faith leaders seek to have Sabbath time for themselves they are on call often 24/7/365 when someone in their care needs them they seek to be there.

This places stresses on their lives.A Clergy person is often the CEO of a non-profit organization and has many administrative duties, they are also available for individuals who are ill or in distress, helping plan life events like baptism/dedication (initiation into the faith), marriage, burials, teaching things of faith, leading worship and offering a message of hope and direction on a weekly (or at least regular basis).

They often represent their community in larger community events. They are called upon to be visionary leaders and effective managers.These expectations can sometimes be conflictive and are often competitive for time and energy.This course can assist an individual to discern best practices in the midst of competing demands and helping them keep their center.

Some areas of dissonance for Spiritual Leaders can be:

• Incongruence between one’s beliefs and the behavior of the people they serve

• A desire to seek to measure one’s effectiveness by pleasing everyone• Wounds and/or trauma in one’s past that is unprocessed

• Lack of technical skills for the specific ministry you are needed for• Being so busy doing ministry that one doesn’t take time for spiritual nourishment

• Guided or bound by rules of conduct

• Is NLP and Life Coach practices Biblically and/or Faith based?• How can my skills be used with individuals, teams, groups, and community?
